E-Prep 222 is a liquid concentrate that accelerates the brightening action for leaded brass and copper.

E-Prep 222 stops the breakdown of peroxide and prevents re-tarnishing after brightening. Does not contain nitric acids, chromic acids, chromates, chelators, or complexers. Designed to work on tin/lead soldered areas to offer a more uniform finish. Parts should be thoroughly cleaned prior to the descaling and bright-dipping process.
