E-Pik 271 does not attack base metal or contain phosphates or chelates. Can remove heavy rust, heat treat scale and hard water scale without the danger of hydrogen embrittlement. Includes an inhibitor to help minimize smut formation while pickling high carbon steel. Temperature: Ambient–100°F. Concentration: 15–50% by volume in water. Time: 2–10 minutes or longer.
