E-Mist 9 lowers the surface tension of chrome-plating solutions, reducing fuming and misting as well as solution drag out.

A special blend of clear, colorless, and free-flowing liquid surfactants, free of PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic Acid), PFOS (Perfluorooctane Sulfonate), and PFOS-related components. It is added to anodizing and chrome-plating solutions, developing a fast-braking foam layer.

E-Mist NF is Fluoride-Free Bio-degradable Mist Suppressant for Hex Chrome. It is utilized in chrome anodizing and chrome plating solutions to reduce their surface tension. E-Mist NF develops a dense foam layer of 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) which significantly reduces fuming and misting.
