E-Chrome Ultra Blue

Easy-to-use, two-component, single-dip trivalent blue chromate with high corrosion resistance. Ultra Blue produces the bluest passivation without the common yellowing problems of other passivations.

Meets all automotive and industrial standards, and no topcoat is needed. It can be used with automatic-feeder equipment and offers high salt spray resistance of up to 150 hours. Works well on plated zinc, diecast zinc, and galvanized zinc surfaces. Also used as a conversion finish on zinc diecast surfaces prior to powder coating and can replace a hexavalent sealer for nickel surfaces. For optimum corrosion protection, the addition of a separate component, E-Chrome Ultra Blue HP, is added at 2% by volume. pH: 1.5–2.0 (Optimum 1.8). Temperature: 65–90° F (Optimum 75° F, 24° C). Time: 1–40 seconds (optimum 20 seconds). Agitation: Air agitation may be helpful in rack situations.

E-Chrome Ultra Yellow

Easy-to-use, two-component, single-dip iridescent trivalent yellow chromate with high corrosion resistance.

E-Chrome Ultra Yellow meets all automotive and industrial standards, and no topcoat is needed. It can be used with automatic-feeder equipment and offers high salt spray resistance of up to 150 hours or up to 300 hours when baked for hydrogen embrittlement (375° F, 4–24 hours). Does not yellow, fade, or rub off and offers exceptional UV protection. Created for non-cyanide zinc-plating and chloride-zinc processes.

An easy-to-use single dip, trivalent iridescent yellow-red bright chromate. Color is almost like hexavalent yellow.

Offers high salt spray resistance of up to 200–250 hours to white rust. No additional top coat is required. Meets automotive and all other industrial standards. Best for plated alkaline non-cyanide, cyanide, and chloride zinc deposits.
