How the U.S. government is subsidizing American companies Wal-Mart and McDonalds with Food Stamps

I have always believed that manufacturing was what drove the USA to vibrant-growing economy, even with a recession, to create a middle class in the USA that could buy homes, take vacations, and send their children to college.

Today that dream is gone do to food security issues that has resulted in new organizations like Blessings in a Back Pack in Waukesha, WI that feeds over 200 kids in 4 elementary schools in the Waukesha School District. We will not get people off Food Stamps until we create high quality jobs and that pay more than $15.00 an hour to solve this problem.

The USA has gotten to expensive to raise a family with high housing costs, food costs, insurance costs, and all of the other expenses in the living in the USA. We have seen a rise with Sanders and Trump popularity as people are desperate for a change in their lives economically so they can be successful. I would point to the U.S. government with both parties guilty of representing their special interests instead of doing what is right for the country. The government has accomplished this by picking which companies will win in the market place and also by excessive taxation and regulations.

Our government is too big and too controlling. The result is Texas is discussing Texit (exit the USA becoming it's own country of Texas) and could leave the USA in the future as the Federal government has gotten too big in controlling the states. You do not hear Clinton and Trump talk about making the government smaller and the deficit. I am afraid we are going through another political cycle with no change while we grow the U.S. government.
