I had the after math shift for Course Marshalling on Sunday from 3-6pm at Hole 9.
As you can see, all the fans are gone watching the back nine.
Reflecting on this once in a lifetime experience, it will always be with me. The comradery with other Marshalls, helping to pull off a successful event, meeting great fans from all over the world, and watching these amazing golfers work in their office - the golf course!
The most enjoyable part of marshalling was taking pictures on the fairway cross walk at 220 yards, on hole 9. I met many people from all over the world; making is seem much smaller. It was fun taking nearly 200 family shots, young sons with dads, older dads with older sons, and group pictures using their phones.
