Resulting in a rich, high gloss black oxide-magnetite finish, Kool-Blak 225 is completely versatile with the ability to blacken a wide range of carbon, alloy, and hardened tool steels.
The above massive steel part was first cleaned with our E-Kleen SR 102-E which removes carbon on smutty steels. This metal cleaner results in better adhesion and a brighter-smut free part.
Sealed with our rust preventative and corrosion inhibitor E-Tec 505+, finishing in a dry to the touch thick film for maximum corrosion resistance.
Kool-Blak 225 has superior corrosion protection, enhanced durability, and a magnificent black decorative finish.
