New From EPI!
Check out these great new products from www.epi.com:
E-Brite Ultra AC is a new and unique single additive acid copper plating process which has shown to provide superior plate distribution by plating more copper in lower current density areas and reducing the copper thickness in higher current density areas. The ratio of plating thickness between high current areas and low current areas is a low 4:1. A significant advantage is reduced consumption of anodes when Ultra AC is plated at the same thickness of copper in the LCD as with other processes. With the greater thickness in the LCD, cut-through when buffing and polishing the copper plate is virtually eliminated. Click here for additional information.
E-Brite Ultra Cu: EPI understands that today’s plant environments demand copper plating meet a wide range of requirements. E-Brite Ultra Cu non-cyanide, non-pyrophosphate alkaline copper plating process which provides superior coverage over cyanide copper and better adhesion versus competitive non-cyanide processes. E-Brite Ultra Cu is an inexpensive, easy to control, single maintenance additive process that produces outstanding adhesion to difficult-to-plate die-cast zinc surfaces as well as iron, steel, zincated aluminum, copper, brass and stainless steel. E-Brite Ultra Cu eliminates hazardous cyanide and its associated costs of waste treatment equipment and chemicals, laboratory personnel time, waste treatment personnel as well as management time complying with the reporting requirements for cyanide. E-Brite Ultra-Alk is a thoroughly tested, stable and production proven alkaline zinc plating brightener process. It is suitable for either rack or barrel plating. E-Brite Ultra-Alk provides better zinc metal distribution than traditional alkaline zinc or chloride zinc plating systems. Operating parameters are wide and therefore it is an easy process to maintain.
E-Brite Ultra-Chlor AP, an acid chloride zinc plating process, produces brilliant, level and ductile deposits even on difficult substrates such as cast iron, heat treated and carbonitrited steel.
E-Brite Ultra Chlor NA, a non-ammonium acid chloride zinc plating process, has the same inherent advantages and benefits as E-Brite Ultra-Chlor AP but uses a different carrier component.
E-Chrome Ultra Blue High Corrosion Trivalent Blue Chromate for zinc plated surfaces. Produces 130 hours salt spray resistance to white rust (corrosion) and 160-200 hours resistance to red rust (corrosion) per ASTM-B-117. This high degree of corrosion resistance is obtained without a topcoat.
