Resin Solutions

E-Tec 520 is a clear acrylic rust prevention lacquer. It is one of the most beneficial of all corrosion inhibitors. It is a mildly alkaline water based solution used to deposit a corrosion inhibiting hard, clear, glossy dry finish. It is used on all bare metal surfaces and all types of conversion coatings, black oxide, antique or oxidized metal and phosphate finishes.

Thickness: Approximately 0.09 ml

Coverage: Approximately 2900 sq.ft/gallon

Wax Emulsions

E-Tec 521 is a unique, water-based wax emulsion which is used as a dual purpose dry film lubricant and corrosion preventive.

Applications Include

  • Weatherproofing military arms applications
  • Steel strapping
  • Piano stringing
  • Various fasteners and rivets
  • Decorative coating on cast iron
  • Over treated surfaces such as phosphate, bonderized and anodized
  • Mold release for gold leaf
  • Joint lubricant for umbrella-type antennas

    E-Tec 521-B , a black wax version of E-Tec 521.

    E-Tec 522 is a unique, water-based wax emulsion with outstanding adhesion and durability on various substrates. It dries in about 15 minutes to a satiny film, without losing its wax characteristics or lubricity.

    Applications Include
  • Torque reduction and corrosion resistant lubricant on various fasteners
  • Corrosion preventive and decorative coating on cast iron
  • Use as an anti-graffiti coating over various surfaces including vinyl, rubber, plastic, painted surfaces, metal and other surfaces
  • Provides a dry, imperceptible barrier film over various surfaces.  Graffiti adheres to the barrier film of E-Tec 522 and not to the coated surface
  • Commonly used as a nonflammable, dry film lubricant and corrosion preventive on electrical connectors, pins, screws and other electrical components.  Does not inhibit the flow of electricity in electrical connectors
  • Excellent release properties make it capable of being used as a mold release agent for flexible or rigid forms
  • Can be applied by almost any commercial method – flow coat, immersion, wipe or spray
