Steel
E-Kleen 101 — Heavy duty, granular, caustic, low silicate, high detergent metal cleaner for steel and copper used at 8 to 10 oz/gal. Temperature: 160° to 200° F.
E-Kleen 102 — Liquid heavy duty, high caustic, non-silicated soak cleaner for steel. E-Kleen 102 is a liquid mixture of surface active agents, detergents and caustic that floats the oil. E-Kleen 102 contains over 13% by weight surfactants/detergents.
E-Kleen 102E — Liquid heavy duty, high caustic, non-silicated soak metal cleaner for steel. E-Kleen 102-E is a liquid mixture of surface active agents, detergents and caustic that emulsifies oil. E-Kleen 102-E contains over 13% by weight surfactants/detergents.
E-Kleen 105 — Heavy duty, granular, caustic soak cleaner for steel and copper. It does not contain silicates and therefore is very free rinsing. It operates at low temperatures (120° – 160° F) and offers excellent scale control and water softening properties. It emulsifies oils. Used at 8 to 10 wt. oz/gal.
E-Kleen 111 — Heavy duty, granular, high caustic, non-silicated metal cleaner for steel and copper used at 6 to 16 oz/gal. Temperature: 160° to 200° F.
E-Kleen 120 — Heavy duty, strong alkaline, highly conductive reverse current metal cleaner for steel. Granular mixture used at 8 to 16 oz/gal. Temperature 180° to 200°F. Current density of 50 to 140 amps/sq.ft. at 4 to 6 volts.
It also makes an excellent soak metal cleaner because it is very free rinsing, effective in hard water, and buffered to maintain its alkalinity for long solution life. It is the preferred soak cleaner to be used without an intervening water rinse prior to an electrolytic solution of E-Kleen 120.
E-Kleen 127 — A unique liquid concentrate of surfactant and caustic for anodic (reverse) electrocleaning and effective soak cleaning for steel. Contains no phosphates, chelators or silicates. It has the unique characteristic for a liquid sodium hydroxide formulation of being freezable without having the typical crystallization problems. It thaws out at room temperature. Emulsifies oils when used as a soak cleaner. Concentration: 5 to 12% by volume in water. Temperature: 140° to 200° F. Rack Cleaning: 5 to 6 volts at 15 to 80 amps/sq.ft. Barrel Cleaning: 12 to 15 volts at 20 to 30 amps/sq.ft.
E-Kleen 129 — Heavy duty granular product formulated for anodic electrocleaning and smut removal on steel and copper. It is non-phosphated, non-chelated and offers a controlled foam blanket during electrocleaning. It offers high conductivity with heavy soil loading capacity. It works effectively to remove loose carbon smut and metallic oxide from steel surfaces following acid pickling. Used at 8 to 10 oz.gal. at 160° to 200° F to current density of 50 to 100 amps/sq.ft. at 4 to 6 volts for 1 to 2 minutes.
E-Kleen 129-L — A concentrated liquid product formulated for the heavy-duty electrocleaning and smut removal of steel and copper. It is non-phosphated, non-chelated and offers a controlled foam blanket during electrocleaning.
It offers high conductivity with heavy soil loading capacity. Under anodic electrocleaning, E-Kleen 129-L solution works effectively to remove loose carbon smut and metallic oxides from steel surfaces following acid pickling.
