E-Mist 7 is a special blend of surfactants which do not contain PFOA, PFOS, or PFOS related components. PFOS surfactants may eventually be banned throughout the USA, like they are in Minnesota. E-Mist 7 is an alternative to the PFOS chemistry. It is added to anodizing and chrome plating solutions, can greatly reduce their surface tension and thereby significantly reduce fuming and misting, and also solution drag out.
E-Mist 7 is a clear, colorless, free flowing liquid product. It develops a fast breaking foam layer.
E-Mist 7 is stable when added to strong oxidizing solutions containing Chromic Acid, Nitric Acid, etc. and hence, it offers consistent performance in suppressing fumes and mist generated under electrolysis.
E-Mist 7 is used for lowering the surface tension of the plating solution.
